Day 286: This Guy’s in Love with U Mare!
Got to watch this movie with the rest of the Green Team. Harold planned for this like three weeks ahead. I did all the followups with who’s coming, schedule of the movies, and getting the seats—which is very stressful. In the end, we got seats online at 9:25 in the evening at Glorietta 4 cinemas. Having to collect the payments is even more stressful.
The movie is about Lester, who after being left by Mike, pretended to be straight to court Mike’s fiancee Gemma. A complicated triangle of sorts. Then Gemma found out what happened between Lester and Mike, she decided not to see them both. But Lester made the move to reconcile the two. The movie ended in Filipino fashion, a wedding between Mike and Gemma.
If you’re going to rate this movie on punchlines alone, I have no doubt this is definitely 5 stars. But if you look at the plot and how the story flows, that’s another story. They weren’t even very tactful in regards to being gay in these times, rather backwards if you ask me. But nevertheless, they delivered a funny movie that takes the stress out of my system.
